Using Insulin-like Growth Factors

March 29th, 2007

Building anti-aging treatments is important if you want to keep looking and feeling great. If you have begun to move beyond the youthful ages, you may notice that it is like being on a tread mill. Trying to find the answers to stop the wrinkles and to begin fighting against nature begins to be an important focus. If you want to get off of the race track of age, you can begin by finding new tools that can help you with anti-aging. One of the main substances to know about is insulin like growth factors, or IGFs. This is one of the natural treatments that you can look into that have proven effects to help with anti-aging.

After your body get to a certain age, it stop growing and producing certain cells. This occurs because your body has a set of hormones that tell the body it doesn’t need to grow in size or in strength. The hormone, hypothalamus, is a set of cells that will communicate to all of the cells what they need to do at specific times in your life. At a certain age, it will tell the cells to stop producing any more than is needed for the body to be maintained. The result is that everything in the body begins to slow down. This is the major reason why aging occurs. The cells stop producing as much and stop splitting in order to help with any type of growth.

Hypothalamus, while being the main communicator, will then link to other types of hormones that will either continue or stop their reproduction. One of the cells that are part of this is located in insulin. The way that insulin begins to work is by moving into the cells of your body. This then create a cell culture that supports and multiplies the healthy cells that are in your body. The result is that your muscles and your cells, in every area of your body, continue to reproduce and grow in strength.

“This then create a cell culture that supports and multiplies the healthy cells that are in your body.”

When you stop growing, the hypothalamus will tell the insulin to stop growing and multiplying as quickly as it did before. While it continues to reproduce specific cells, the major growth of your cells and body is told that it is finished. This is where IGFs can help you.

It is up to you to put more of the growth hormones in your body in order to counteract what the hypothalamus is telling your cells. If you put IGFs back into your body, it helps to balance and maintain the cells and hormones that aren’t being developed for sustainability and for growth. Not only will you notice that you begin to have more energy, but also that you can continue to look and feel like you did when you were much younger.

If you want to maintain your body with the same levels of energy and appearance as before, insulin like growth factors can be one of your keys. By supplementing what your body is being told to not reproduce, you can find the best answers for a longer life and can move towards stopping your age in its tracks.
